Q: How do I reserve a party?

We operate on a simple first come, first serve basis (e-signed contract & 50% deposit).

Q: How is the quality of the animals?

A: Our animals and outfits are top quality, and we guarantee that all animals and outfits are without defects.  We have children of our own, and we've seen them go to bed with the new stuffies they made during the day; therefore, we feel that much more comfortable knowing that we have provided the same to our clients and guests who may do the same.  Our stuffing/fill is premium and hypoallergenic.

Q: How does your animals and outfits compare to Build-a-Bear®?

A: Our 16" animals are the same size and quality as a Build-a-Bear® animal. Our outfits/costumes also fit the Build-a-Bear® animals and vice versa.

Q: Where is the best place to have a party at home?

A: It really depends what you're envisioning!  Most clients find it easier to have us set up in their front yard/driveway.  Otherwise, backyard, patio, or anywhere else would work!  On rainy days, we've done parties inside a garage, which worked out just as fine.

Q: What do I need to provide on the day of the party?

A: All we need is a power outlet, and we take care of the rest! In an event that you're hosting the party with no power access, no worries! We are still able to bring the party to you. There will be an additional fee to bring an alternative power source.

Q: Is there a delivery/set-up fee for the party?

A: Yes, the one-time set-up/breakdown fee starts from $150 to move our large display racks and stuffing machine(s), each weighing over 300lbs.  For park setups, the fee starts from $200.  See our Terms and Conditions page for more information.

Q: What if I have last-minute additions to the guest list?

A: We always bring more than enough of everything just in case. We understand last-minute changes happen.

Q: Is there a pre-payment at the time of bookings?

A: Yes, we require a minimum deposit of 50% to reserve your date (see Terms and Conditions page). Your deposit will be deducted from the total amount due.

Q: What if I cancel my appointment?

A: We realize that plans change. We require a minimum of 14 days right-to-cancel before your reservation date to receive your deposit back. If the party is canceled within 14 days prior to your reservation date, your deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable (see Terms and Conditions page).

Q: Does your price include taxes?

A: Taxes are not included in our price. Your city's (location of the event) sales tax will be applied to the total amount due.

Q: What forms of payments do you accept?

A: We accept Visa, MC, AmEx, and Discover (there is a 3% surcharge for credit cards); Venmo, PayPal, cash, and checks. (A 10% fee will be added for returned checks due to insufficient funds.)

Q: How does pricing work for the mobile factory?

A: Pricing depends on the accessibility of the site at the party location.   SBP has been widely popular as it comes to you, to your choice of crowd, and caters to the event or the birthday girl/boy.  Moreover, SBP exists on its mission to gift forward from your event!

Q: What area(s) do you cover?

A: We service the entire Bay Area in the beautiful Northern California.  However, we've gone pretty much all over the left coast, so feel free to ask!  We also offer amazing DIY kits for parties that are mailed out right to your doorstep.  Contact us for more information!

Q: What other add-ons do you have on top of the animal factory?

A: Thinking about taking your party up another notch?  We offer the following add-ons: on-site arcade machine rentals (fun for both adults and kids); obstacle bounce house (top completely open making it COVID-friendly); the ever-so-popular Hawaiian shaved ice; and the all-time favorite cotton candy!  All the ingredients that we use for our delectable add-ons are non-gmo, no high fructose corn syrup, and made out of 100% cane sugar.

Q: What is the most popular package?

A: Our most popular package is the Animal Factory plus our Photo Booth, where you have the choice of either still-photos or GIFs, where the party guests can make silly faces while taking pictures.  The Photo Booth is the same modern setup as the ones you see at weddings, and they come with unlimited prints.  We can also customize it to reflect the event name on the prints!
